We are proud to welcome Xingjia Zhang, BS as a new graduate student researcher in our lab at the OHSU Knight Cancer Institute! Xingjia earned bachelor’s degrees in nutritional science and data science from the University of California, Berkeley in 2023 and brings valuable experience in T cell development and metabolism, gained through her prior research with Matthew Spitzer at UCSF. In our group, Xingjia will contribute to a better understanding of how glioblastoma (GBM) brain tumors shape and disrupt immune responses in human patients, leveraging advanced technologies in single-cell analysis, highly-multiplexed tissue imaging, and artificial intelligence. Please join us in welcoming Xingjia to the team. We are thrilled to see her work unfold! 🎉
